Chittaranjan Das (a.k.a Chitta bhai) (October 3, 1923-January 16, 2011) was an educator and writer, on literature, culture, life and the human condition. He has written more than 300 books and received India’s Sahitya Akademy Award in 2000 for his essay collection Biswaku Gabakshya.
