About the Author
Dr. Aseema Sahu as a person of creativity is inundated with the fragrance of her native Mayurbhanj, a sleepy district in the state of Odisha. She works as the Principal of SCB Degree College, Ragdha, and heads the Department of Economics there. She has prolific publications in a sway of vernacular magazines and newspapers. With combined appearance as an academician, columnist, poet, short-story writer, radio and television guest she has become a discernible and highly visible figure of a harmonious amalgamation of art and literature. She has completed her doctorate degree in “Joint Forest Management in Similipal and its Economic Impacts”. Her papers on human displacement from reserve forests have got peers’ appreciation after being published in various international journals. Aseema Sahu is a trained Odishi danseuse. She is the author of three poetry collections – PRIYATAMA SITADINA KHARA, RANA JE, and ISARARA DAKE KIE DIGBALAYA SE PARIRU.
