About the Author

Dr. Bibhudatta Nayak, a well-known poet in Odia literature, is a bank officer by profession but creative writing is his passion. Born to a family having great fanciers in Odia literary world, Dr. Nayak has laid his hand in writing Odia poetry very late, however could place his name at a considerable elevation in a short span. Apart from poetry, he also writes short stories, essays, book reviews, and research articles on various topics. He has published three poetry collections in Odia, Nishabdara Shabda (ନିଃଶବ୍ଦର ଶବ୍ଦ) 2019, Tume Asiba Boli (ତୁମେ ଆସିବ ବୋଲି) 2020, Jharka Pakhara ekala Manisha (ଝର୍କା ପାଖର ଏକଲା ମଣିଷ) 2022, and a short story collection Kua Kiari (କୂଅ କିଆରି) 2023.

Ms. Madhumita Dash, born at Puri (Odisha), post-graduated from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha and M.Phil. from Berhampur University, Odisha in English Literature, has always had a fascination with language and the power of words. Over the years, she has honed her skills, mastering multiple languages and developing a deep appreciation for the nuances of translation. Her passion about storytelling and creative thoughts pertaining to literature have inspired her often to write both in English as well as Odia languages, translating poetry into English and publish in various magazines and social sites.
