About the Author
Debabrata Madanray’s (born June 12, 1957) short stories touch the hearts of readers through their simple and honest use of language. Readers are touched by the peace and serenity of stories in their natural settings. Madanray has authored twenty-six collections of short stories. A retired bank officer, he devotes his time mainly to writing. He is also a long-time editor of a literary magazine “Nabalipi,” which has a wide readership in the state of Odisha. He currently lives in Cuttack, Odisha.
